Direct ABA Services
ABA Autism Services of SC works with each family to incorporate participation with their child in daily routines, playing with siblings, and embedding instruction through play by:
- Developing an Individualized Treatment Plan (ITP) which builds on a child’s strengths and focuses on the core areas of autism
- Teaching natural communicative, social, play, academic, and functional life skills
- Addressing behavioral challenges with a non-aversive Behavior Support Plan (BSP)
- Integrating ABA sessions into a child’s natural environments of home, school, and the community
Professional and Parent Training
Professional training is available and developed for the specific needs of the organization. Typical topics include characteristics of autism, basic principles of behavior, and positive behavior interventions. Parent training is a significant component in all our ABA programs.
Comprehensive Academic Tutoring
Academic skill assessments and intensive tutoring services are available. Common academic challenges include reading, writing, and math. When needed, tutoring in social skills is often incorporated into our academic tutoring sessions.
